MONTREAT, N.C. -- Aliisa Mason netted four goals in the Siena Heights women's lacrosse 24-1 victory over Montreat (N.C.) season opener in non-conference action, on Monday.

Kayla Parks started the scoring one minute into action and the Saints continued to score throughout the entire first half leaving the score at halftime 16-0. The lone goal of the Cavaliers (0-5) was scored with 15 minutes left in the game by Miranda Walker.

Mason led the team in goals with four and two assists. Parks and Marissa Cirino each added three goals, while Parks had two assists, Cirino had five and Taylor Swartz had three assists. Hannah Argue, Casey Rappuhn, Alyssa Hopkins, Mackenzie Fisette and Katherine Tapia each added two goals. Chelsea Plant, Natalie Williams, Audrey Jarrad and Swartz each notched in one of their own.

Cirino led the team in ground balls with nine while Parks came close behind with eight. Hopkins, Swartz, Williams each had an interception.

Tabitha Ferguson started out in goal and had five saves. She was relieved by Rachel Ries in the second half and stopped one shot.  

The Saints (1-0) take on Point in West Point (Ga.) in a noon non-conference contest, on Wednesday.
