Strong Second Half Not Enough for Women's Lacrosse

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team ended their 2016 regular season with a 18-14 loss against non-conference opponent Ursuline (Ohio) on Sunday.

The Arrows (6-7) went on a roll scoring the first eight goals of the game. Aliisa Mason responded with two goals to get the Saints in action. SHU fought back, trailing 12-5 at halftime.

Siena outscored Ursuline 9-6 in the second half, Kayla Parks adding four of the Saints nine goals, but it wasn't enough for the comeback win.

Parks led the Saints (7-10) with five goals while Mason added four goals and two assists. Alysa Grove tacked on two goals and two assists. Sam Pawlowski added one goal and an assist while Alyssa Hookins and Sabrina Snow tallied a goal and assist, respectively.

Siena Heights' goaltender Tabitha Ferguson made 18 saves for the Saints. For the Arrows, Sarah Bowerman made seven saves.
