Kehn's Seven Points Lead SHU Women's Lax in Loss to #7 Aquinas

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Erin Kehn led the Siena Heights effort with five goals and two assists, but the Saints' women's lacrosse team dropped a 21-10 decision to seventh-ranked Aquinas in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play at O'Laughlin Stadium on Wednesday.

Stephannie Gonzalez added three goals while Aliisa Mason compiled two goals and two assists for the Saints (4-5, 2-3). Also, Sydney VanHoose made an assist.

VanHoose also had four groundballs while SHU goalkeeper Tabitha Ferguson finished with 11 saves, six groundballs and five caused turnovers.

Aquinas (5-3, 3-2) had two five-goal runs of five and a trio of three-goal runs as Alexandra Burns and Hannah Crosby led the way with five goals and two assists. 

Kendall Carr added seven groundballs and four caused turnovers for Aquinas. Burns also had five groundballs.

Winning goalie Meghan Gray made seven stops for Aquinas.

Siena Heights will return to action on Friday with a 7 p.m. non-conference contest against Ursuline (Ohio).
