Gonzalez, Kehn Tally Seven Points Each in Women's Lax Win over Lawrence

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Stephannie Gonzalez and Erin Kehn compiled five goals and one assist each to lead the Siena Heights women's lacrosse team to an 18-13 victory over Lawrence Tech in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play at the SHU Fieldhouse on Friday.

Aliisa Mason added three goals and Cynthia Bradford put in two goals for the Saints (4-3, 2-0), who erased a 3-1 deficit with a seven-goal run to lead the rest of the way.

Sydney VanHoose tallied one goal and three assists, Nicole Yeip had one goal and one assist, and Victoria Chavis scored once. Winning goalkeeper Tabitha Ferguson made 14 saves while Vanessa Wallace came through with two stops in relief.

Mason also had seven groundballs and five caused turnovers. VanHoose contributed four groundballs and three caused turnovers. Bradford and Alyssa Mullen also had three caused turnovers apiece.

For Lawrence Tech (2-5, 0-4), Kadijah Kalo had five goals and two assists while Alyssa Shaver finished with four goals and three assists.

Also, Alyssa Melotik scored three goals and Paige Holcomb compiled one goal and one assist.

Shaver added nine groundballs and eight caused turnovers.

The Saints will return to action on Sunday with a WHAC match at Davenport.
