Women's Lacrosse Snags First Win of Season at Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Erin Kehn had eight goals and three assists while Stephannie Gonzalez finished with seven goals and three assists as the Siena Heights women's lacrosse team defeated Columbia (S.C.), 26-16, on Wednesday.

Aliisa Mason and Victoria Chavis added four goals apiece while Cindy Bradford, Sydney VanHoose and Sabrina Snow put in one each.

Sydney VanHoose had four assists and Beth Giguere made three assists. Snow contributed two helpers.

Defensively, Marge Hern had six ground balls and three caused turnovers. Mason and VanHoose grabbed four draw controls while Kehn and Gonzalez controlled three draws apiece.

Winning goalie Tabitha Ferguson made 13 saves and Nicole Palm stopped three shots.
