Skylar Whitman Propels Women's Golf to Win in Adrian College Invitational With Individual Win

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team won the Adrian College Invitational with a team score of 344. Skylar Whitman sat atop the individual leaderboard with a final score of 78 for the day. 

The Saints edged Ohio Northern to take the crown by a single stroke. Adrian fell to third with a team score of 349. Trine was fourth with a 356, while the Adrian B squad finished fifth with a 367. Baldwin Wallace placed sixth with a 382.

Behind Whitman for SHU was Chelsea Kovoch, who shot an 83 for the day. Bethany Nowak tallied an 89 for Siena, while Megan Paczas finished with a 94. Isabelle Sparks rounded out the SHU team score with a 110. Emma Murphy played as an individual and finished the round with a 109.

The Siena Heights women's golf team wraps up the Spring season with the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship beginning Monday, April 25. The two-day championship tournament will conclude on Tuesday, April 26.
