Women's Golf Finishes Third at Lawrence Tech Invitational

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished third for the second time this week with a team score of 377 at the Lawerence Tech Invitational at the Washtenaw Country Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Dakota Spears (senior, Hudsonville, Mich.) led the way for the Saints with a second-place finish with a final score of 86 (+14).

Jaclyn Fanola (senior, Monroe, Mich.) finished four strokes back from Spears (90) to tie for sixth place with a +14. Mya Price (senior, South Lyon, Mich.) tallied a final score of 100 (+28) to tie for 15th. Bethany Nowak (sophomore, Britton, Mich.) and Megan Paczac (freshman, St. Clair Shores, Mich.) rounded out the scoring for the Saints with a 101 to tie for 18th. Sorina Grech played as an individual and finished with a 93 (+21) to finish 10th in the standings.

The Saints play a third tournament in less than a week on Monday, September 28 when they head to Battle Creek, Michigan to play in the Wolverine-Hooser Athletic Conference (WHAC) Fall Preview at the Bedford Valley Golf Course.
