Women's Golf Improves Team Score By 10 Strokes To Hold Onto 5th Place in WHAC Jamboree #2

SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished round 2 of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree #2 with a team score of 338 to finish with a total tournament score of 686 which was good enough for the fifth-place finish. Madisyn Reed improved on her first round performance of 84 by four strokes to tie for 13th in the individual standings.

Amy Nordstrom finished one stroke better on day two with an 84 for 17th place. Dakota Spears finished an 86 for 21st while Allie Barron tallied an 88 to tie for 27th. Barron's second-round score was four strokes better than her score after the first day. The biggest improvement for the Saints came from Gabrielle Anderson who bettered her round one score by 10 strokes to finish with a 90 on day two. That score was good enough to move her up two spots to 34th individually.

The women's golf team wraps up its fall slate of tournaments on Monday and Tuesday, October 15-16 at the Hidden Creek Golf Course in Lima, Ohio for the WHAC Jamboree #3.
