Saint Women's Golf Finishes Third at The Scotland USA Invitational

ALMA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished third out of seven teams at The Scotland USA Invitational hosted by Alma College with a team score of 346. Madisyn Reed tied for the first-place finish with an 81 on the day for the first top finish for a Saint women's golfer this season.

Amy Nordstrom finished eighth with a score of 85. Allie Barron was tied for 12th with an 87. Gabrielle Anderson finished tied for 21st after a score of 93. Emily Witaszek rounded out the SHU scores with a 95 that was good enough for a 27-place finish.

Siena finished just four strokes higher than second place Aquinas. Alma was five strokes ahead of the Saints to win the tournament.

Siena competes at the Lourdes Fall Invitational this Thursday, September 20 in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. The tournament is set for a 9:00 a.m., shotgun start.
