Women's Golf Places Fifth at Cleary Invitational

HOWELL, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team competed in the Cleary Invitational at the par 72, Chemung Hills Golf Club on Monday. The Saints finished fifth out of five teams.

As a team, SHU shot a 420, following Grace, Spring Arbor, Cleary and Lourdes who finished in first through fourth place respectively.

Mya Price led the Saints with a 97, tying for 13th place overall. Amy Nordstrom (104), Gabby Anderson (109), Emily Witaszek (110) round out the scoring the Siena Heights. Also playing for the Saints was Sorina Grech (117).

Next up, Siena Heights will head to Fort Wayne, Ind. to compete in the St. Francis (Ind.) Invitational. The tournament will take place at Cherry Hill/Cobblestone Golf Club on Friday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 30.
