WYOMING, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished fifth in the final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree of the fall, on Friday and Saturday. The Saints finished fifth in the WHAC overall.
Finishing with a successful fall season for SHU was Andrea Richards, who earned All-WHAC First Team honors.
Alyssa Fausneaucht was the top-finisher for the Saints, tying for 10th with a score of 161 (80-81) in the two-round tournament.
Tying for 12th was Richards, who carded a 162 (84-78) over the two days.
Compiling a 166 for SHU was Ashley Bearden, shooting an 82 in day one and 84 in round two.
Lauren Cojei rounded out the scoring for the Saints with a total score of 168 (84-84).
As a team, Siena Heights shot a 657 (330-327) to earn fifth place. Northwestern Ohio won the tournament with a two-round score of 635 (314-321) while Indiana Tech took second with a 636 (324-312).
In the WHAC, the Saints stayed at fifth only 12 strokes behind Madonna and Lawrence Tech, who tied for third.
The Saints will close out their season on Monday at the Lourdes Invitational.
