Women's Bowling Places Fourth at WHAC Championships

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The Saints competed in the 2017-2018 WHAC Championships at ProBowl West on Saturday. After 12 Baker games of qualifying, Siena Heights posted a total of 2,093, with sets of:  337, 316, 382, 386, 333, 339.  This was enough to finish 4th and advance to the Semi-Finals against top-seeded Aquinas College.

The 4-game Baker match saw Aquinas advance to the finals with a 720-640 win. The other semi-final match pitted Indiana Tech vs. Spring Arbor. Indiana Tech advance and bowled against Aquinas in the finals. Indiana Tech won by a score of 736-634 to become the 2017-2018 WHAC Women's Champions.

Because the Indiana Tech won the tournament, Siena Heights team earned an invite to the NAIA Invitational on March 24th-25th in Highland, Indiana. The next tournament for the Saints, however, is the USBC Intercollegiate Team Sectionals in Stratford, NJ on March 10th-11th.
