Women's Bowling Finishes First at Adrian College Open

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Saints competed at the Adrian College Open on Saturday at Lenawee Recreation Center. Eleven other women's teams bowled and when the dust settled, Siena Heights finished just under 200 pins ahead of the field to take their first tournament win since 2012.

With the 4 team game and 16 Baker game format, the Saints scored a pin fall total of 6259 (3385 in the team games, and 2874 during the Baker games) to win by 194 pins over Spring Arbor University. The Saints were led by Olivia Cabildo and Tryna Gladstone, who averaged 181.50 and 180.75, respectively, during the team portion to take All-Tournament Team honors. The teams competed on the difficult 39', 2013 USBC Masters Tournament lane pattern.

Taylor Thomas averaged 175.50 (tied for 11th place), Kassandra Costello had a 174.00 average for 3 games (36th), Tiffany Paraventi 142.67 for 3 games (45th), Courtney Herron (64th), and Taylor Villasurda (66th).

The Saints will be competing on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Airport Lanes in Jackson, MI at the WHAC 2 Jamboree hosted by Spring Arbor University. The start time is 8:30 a.m.
