Women's Bowling at the #3 and #4 AHIBC

WAYNE, Mich. – At the third American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Jamboree, the Siena Heights women's bowling team finished 11th out of 23 teams on Saturday. Sunday, at the fourth American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Jamboree, the Saints placed 10th out of 21 teams.

As a team, the Saints finished with a 799, 917, 821, 882 and 770. The women also had a 607, 723 and 775 in their baker game, finishing with a total score of 6294.

The Saints' top finisher on the day was Tiffany Logan. She placed 22nd out of 163 women, with a total pin-fall of 904. Logan's highest game was a 200 followed by a 195. Olivia Cabildo placed 49th with an 848 total pin-fall and her highest game being a 187.

Wright State won the tournament with an overall score of 6698, including event-winner Tori Pappas who finished with a 1049.

On the second day of action the Saints placed 10th with a total score of 6420, improving from the previous day.

SHU held strong in the team games, finishing with a 948, 855, 938 and 939. The Saints also had a high baker game of 728.

The Saints' top-finisher was Tiffany Logan, placing 10th with a total pin-fall of 795. Her high games during the day's action included a 224 and a 214. Tanishia Townsend placed 19th with a total pin-fall of 773, her highest game being a 225. Following right behind Townsend was Kassandra Costello. Costello placed 20th with a total pin-fall of 763 and a high game of 224.

Wright State held their own by also claiming first place on Sunday with a score of 6985.

Other Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference competitors included Concordia, Cornerstone, Davenport, Indiana Tech, Lawrence Tech, and Madonna.

SHU will return to action on Saturday, February 4, at the fourth WHAC Jamboree.
