Siena Heights Women’s Bowling Places 12th and 10th at AHIBC III & IV

WICKLIFFE, Ohio – The Siena Heights women's bowling team took home a 12th and 10th place finish at the last two American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference tournaments of the season at The Games of Wickliffe in Wickliffe, Ohio.

In AHIBC III, the Saints placed 12th in the 18-team field with a 6,221 total pin-fall, a near eight-pins behind 11th place Bowling Green State (Ohio).

Amanda Barry was the top-finisher for SHU, placing 28th in the 146-bowler field with a 919 (183.8 average) five-game series, which included a 254 high game. Also for the Saints, Tiffany Logan finished 43rd with an 876 (175.2 average) five-game series.

Wright State (Ohio) won AHIBC III, compiling a total pin-fall of 7,303. Bowling Green's Kayla Meadows placed first individually with a 1,125 (225.0) five-game series.

In AHIBC IV, the Saints placed 10th in the 18-team field with a 6,486 total pin-fall, finishing a narrow 20-pins back of 9th place Saginaw Valley State.

Courtney Herron was the top-finisher for SHU, placing 36th in the 135-bowler field with a 756 (189.0) four-game total, while Logan placed 40th with a 749 (187.25).

Wright State also won AHIBC IV, compiling a total pin-fall of 7,563. Notre Dame's (Ohio) Brittany Ferrara took top individual honors with a 903 (225.75).

The Saints will begin post-season play Feb. 7 at the WHAC Championships which is set to be hosted by the regular season conference runner-up Concordia.
