Niesha Lowe enters her seventh season as a member of the Siena Heights women’s basketball coaching staff. For the first six years, she was a recruiting coach. This year she transitions to the role of assistant coach with the program.
 
The 2008 graduate of Siena Heights brings 12 years of coaching experience with her to campus. Her coaching stops include several head coaching positions at all levels of competition. Most recently, she coached the semi-professional Grand Rapids Galaxy for the 2019-20 season as well as the Grand Valley State University club team from 2017-2021. Lowe was the varsity head coach at Union High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the 2015-16 season and coached the freshman team at Ottawa Hills from 2009-2015. 
 
After graduating from Siena Heights with her bachelor's in sport management, Lowe played for the semi-pro basketball Flint Flames during the team's inaugural season in 2009.
 
As a student-athlete, Lowe spent her first two years of undergrad with Aquinas College (2004-2006) prior to transferring to Siena Heights for her junior and senior seasons (2006-2008). While at Siena Heights, Lowe was a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference All-Academic player in 2007 and was also voted the Saints' Best Defensive Player. She was a member of the SHU track and field team during her college career. She ran the 100m, 200m, and the 4x100 relay where she qualified for the NAIA National Meet in 2008.
 
Lowe currently resides in Adrian, Michigan with her son Jaylen.
