The Siena Heights women's basketball team has entered the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll as of Feb. 7, with a national ranking of No. 25 in NAIA DII.

SHU started its season slowly, finishing 4-5 overall in November. Since then, the Saints have been on a hot streak, only dropping two contests in all of December, January and February so far, giving them a current overall record of 19-7.

Throughout the season, Siena Heights has been able to knock off No. 15 Purdue Northwest (Ind.), to give them a first place finish at its Siena Heights Thanksgiving Classic. The Saints also defeated No. 18 Indiana Tech, on the road in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference battle.

Other conference teams in the Top 25 Coaches' Poll are Davenport (No. 6) and Indiana Tech (No. 18) to which the Saints are standing in third place behind in the WHAC rankings.

The Siena Heights women's basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 8, when they travel to take on Aquinas in a WHAC contest. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
