ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team took on UM-Dearborn in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest on Saturday. The Saints walked away with their fifth straight victory with a score of 63-39.

SHU's defense was the key, holding the Wolverines to single digit scoring in two quarters. UMD shot just 28.8% from the field to the Saints' 37.7%. From behind the arc Siena Heights shot 31.6% while UM-Dearborn shot 20.0%.

April Watson led the Saints (16-6, 9-5 WHAC) with another double-double, scoring 21 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. Jaaliyah Arrington added eight points and four rebounds. 

UM-Dearborn (5-18, 2-13 WHAC) was led by Kendall Rose with eight points and three rebounds. Megan Swick contributed seven points and three rebounds. 

The Saints will be back in action on Wednesday, Jan. 25, when they host Cornerstone in WHAC action. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
