Women's Basketball Set to Take on Cross-Town Rival Adrian and Host Thanksgiving Classic

THE GAME
The Siena Heights women's basketball team will enter the week with an overall record of 1-4 and a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference record of 0-3. The Saints look to get back on track with contests against cross town rival, Adrian, and in match-ups against Governor's State (Ill.) and #13Purdue Northwest (Ind.) in the Siena Heights University Thanksgiving Classic.

The Bulldogs (2-1 overall) enter the week after defeating Marietta (Ohio), 89-85, and then traveling to Pennsylvania for the Greg Richards '00 Memorial Tip-Off Tournament where they took on Allegheny (Pa.) and won the contest 88-79. Later in the tournament AC faced Grove City (Pa.) and dropped the contest 79-63.

Governor's State (1-2 overall) is coming off a tough week after facing two, top ten teams in No. 8 Davenport and No. 5 Saint Francis (Ind.). The Jaguars dropped the contest to Davenport, 96-53, and fell to Saint Francis, 74-50.

#13Purdue Northwest (5-2 overall) has dropped their only two contests to No. 1 Marian and Lawrence Tech who is currently receiving votes for the NAIA top 25 coaches poll. PNW has also defeated the Saints' fellow WHAC member, Cornerstone who is receiving votes, and No. 18 Saint Ambrose (Iowa) to add to their impressive resume.
