DETROIT, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team cruised past Marygrove, 100-45, in a WHAC contest on Saturday.
The Saints took control of the game early, finishing the first quarter 28-6, and never looked back.
Three Saints finished in double digets. Taylar McNeal and Jaaliyah Arrington led SHU with 18 points each, McNeal also finsihed with 15 rebounds. April Watson finished with 14 points for the Saints.
Teonna Pope put-up 19 points for the Mustangs (4-20, 1-15). Elisha Major scored 18 and grabbed six boards for Marygrove.
Overall, the Saints shot 38-77 (49.4 percent) from the field while the Mustangs shot 13-67 (19.4 percent) from the floor.
Siena Heights (14-10, 8-8) will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 3, as they host Cornerstone. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
