Siena Heights Junior Ashley Helmink was named an NFCA 1st Team All Region honoree.

The Saints 2nd baseman was selected as the Region VI second baseman by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).  Helmink hit .363 on the season with 13 doubles, one triple and six homeruns.  Helmink also added 13 walks, eight sacrifices, and six stolen bases to go along with her 27 runs scored and 24 RBI.
