SHU Men's XC Start the 2022 Season at The Indiana Wesleyan Invitational

Marion, Ind. --The Siena Heights Men's Cross Country team kicked off the 2022 season at the Indian Wesleyan Invitational. The Saints ran an 8k, finishing 16th overall with a final score of 429 and a top-five average time of 28:17.

TOP SAINTS

The Saints top finisher was Andrew Stern, a freshman from Saline, Michigan, with a time of 27:10.0and a 83rd place finish. Sophomore Jacob Harberts (Macomb, Mich.) finished second for Siena with a run time of 28:04.7 in 123rd place. Sophomore Nethanel Leupold ( Adrian, Mich.) was the third Saint to cross the finish line at 28:53.9 to claim the 162nd spot. Sophomore Tyler Landis (Homer, Mich.) earned the fourth-place finish for SHU with a total time of 29:11.5. Rounding out the top five finishes for Siena Heights was Colin Metzger a Sophomore from Wyandotte, Michigan who ran a time of 29:48.2.

The Saints men's cross country team will compete at the Lourdes Invitational in Slyvania, Ohio on  Friday, September 16th.
