Two Saints Awarded WHAC Men's Cross Country Honors

The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference announced the 2018 men's cross country awards on Sunday, November 4th, 2018. Two Saints were honored by the conference.

Esrom Woldemichael (Senior, Grand Rapids, Mich.) was honored by the WHAC as Second Team All-Conference. Woldemichael ran in seven meets during the season. He finished best in 5th place during the GRCC Cross Country Invitational. His best time on the season was 24:29.7 during that meet as well. He was named WHAC First Team All-Conference during the 2017 season and the 2016 season.

Shane Skelcy (Junior, Rochester, Mich.) was awarded as WHAC Champion of Character Team. During five meets on the season he placed best in the Lansing Invitational where he finished in 66th place. His best time was 26:42.2 taken place in the GRCC Cross Country Invitational. This is Skelcy's first WHAC college honors of his career.
