Vanwormer, Young Guide Men's XC to 12th at Calvin Invite

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Kyler Vanwormer and Timothy Young placed 47th and 51st, respectively, as the Siena Heights men's cross country team finished 12th among 28 teams at Calvin's Knight Invitational on Saturday. A total of 355 runners competed.

Vanwormer ran the 8-kilometer race in 26:25 while Young clocked in at 26:32.

Also for SHU, Dominic Muessig was 64th in 26:44, Tyler Smar took 94th in 27:26, and Andrew McCray placed 132nd in 28:36.

As a team, the Saints scored 388 points. Calvin won the team title with 57 while Allegheny's Logan Steiner was the top individual with a time of 25:01.
