Hubbard-Neil Earns 17 Kills in Men’s Volleyball Loss to Robert Morris

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Tyler Hubbard-Neil earned 17 kills as Robert Morris (Ill.) swept the Siena Heights men's volleyball team, 3-0, in non-conference action, on Friday. Set scores were 25-15, 26-24 and 25-20. 

 
GAME ONE: Robert Morris 25, Siena Heights 15
The Eagles (14-6) and the Saints started the game close as RMU held an 11-10 lead. Robert Morris went on a six-point run that was enough to seal it for RMU. 
 
GAME TWO: Robert Morris 26, Siena Heights 24
SHU came out strong with a 12-9 lead but the Eagle responded with a 6-2 run, making it 15-14 in the Eagle's favor. Siena Heights tied it up at 24-24, but couldn't hold on as the Eagles took set two.
 
GAME THREE: Robert Morris 25, Siena Heights 20
Again, the Eagles jumped out to a 4-2 lead and continually grew their lead through the remainder of the game. 
 
Leading the Saints with 17 kills was Hubbard-Neil, who also lead SHU with nine digs. Setter Keegan Crawford earned 25 assists while adding a kill. 
 
The Eagles were led by Colby Magorien who earned 12 kills. Bobby Ying earned 26 assists as Timothy Carey made seven digs. 
 
Next up, the Saints (8-3) will take on Cincinnati Christian (Ohio) at Lawrence Tech in an  11 a.m. non-conference contest, on Saturday.
