Men's Track and Field Finish 4th at Aquinas Little Meet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team totaled 97 points for a fourth-place finish at the Aquinas Little Meet.

Naythan Haslam was the lone event winner for the men by finishing the 400-meter run in 51.84 seconds. He also had a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.49.

Rees Nemeth was second in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 4.70m (15' 5"), an "A" standard result. Robert Drew hit a "B" standard mark in the shot put (15.54m [51' 0"]) to finish second in the event. Jordan Parkinson finished the mile in 4:35.95 to earn second in the event.

The 4x400 relay team consisting of Naythan Haslam, Robert Milton, William Jackson, and Brent Rodden finished in third with a time of 3:35.41. Juwan Willis was third in the high jump by clearing the bar at 1.89m (6' 2.25"). Devonte Johnson was the last third-place finisher for the Saints with a 4.45m (14' 7.25") mark in the pole vault.

Jefferson Edwards tallied fourth in the weight throw with a best throw of 15.22m )49' 11.25"). Matt Lentine (600m, 1:27.99), William Jackson (800m, 2:04.33), and Savion Tyler (high jump, 1.84m [6' 0.5"]) each finished fifth in their events.

Brent Rodden hit an "A" standard in the 800-meter run at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet with a 10th-place finish in the event.
