Jordan Earns All-American Honors at 2018 NAIA National Championship - Day 2

GULF SHORES, Ala. – Siena Heights men's track and field high jumper Keith Jordan was named an All-American during the second day of NAIA Track and Field National Championship action, on Friday.

Jordan cleared the bar at 2.05 meters to earn sixth place overall, tying with the fourth and fifth place performers. Georges Chery from Florida Memorial won the event, clearing 2.14 meters.

In the 800m trials, Brent Rodden managed seventh place as he crossed the finish line at 1:53.60 to earn a spot in the finals on Saturday. The top runner in the trials was Marbeq Edgar with a time of 1:52.07.

Zach Kunst and Robert Drew both competed in the men's discus, earning 16th and 29th place, respectively.

On Thursday, Jacob Compagner earned an 11th place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.26 meters.

The final day of action is Saturday, featuring Drew in the shot put and Rodden in the 800m finals.
