Compagner Earns All-American at the 2018 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championship - Day 2

PITTSBURGH, Kan. – Jacob Compagner earned All-American status in the weight throw to help the Siena Heights men's track and field team in the second day of action at the 2018 NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships, on Saturday. 

Compagner's first throw was his best, reaching the 19.10m mark to earn sixth place and All-American status. Robert Drew took 12th with a 17.89m throw.

The final men's event for the day was the 800m dash, where Brent Rodden won his heat with a time of 1:53.39 and will enter the finals as the No. 2 seed.

Competing tomorrow, Saturday, March 3, for the Saints will be Compagner and Drew in the shotput, Rodden in the 800m run, and Devonte Johnson in the pole vault.
