The Siena Heights men's track and field team was ranked 20th in the first weekly rankings by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for 2018 indoor season, as announced recently.
Last season, the Saints took 17th of 63 teams at the 2017 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships while seven athletes earned the title of NAIA All-American in five different events.
Claiming the No. 1 rank is fellow Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference member Indiana Tech, who also won the WHAC Indoor Track and Field Championship title in 2017.
SHU returns to action on Friday and Saturday at the Finclay Classic, hosted by Findlay (Ohio).
