Five Men's T&F Athletes Earn All-American Status at NAIA Championships

GULF SHORES, Ala. -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team ended its NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships run with five All-Americans while competing in 10 different events. SHU took home two All-American honors in the final day of the meet on Saturday.

In the first two days of competition the men's 4x800m relay team, Zach Kunst and Keith Jordan all earned All-American honors.

Devonte Johnson took fifth place in the pole vault after clearing the bar at 4.90 meters (16 feet, 3/4 inches) to earn All-American status.

For his second event of the meet, Brent Rodden earned All-American honors in the 800m run. Rodden came in fifth with a time of 1:52.80.

The Saints finished the season ranked 13th with 20 points while British Columbia (Canada) won with a total score of 71.
