Men's Track & Field Claims Three All-Americans After Two Days of NAIA Championship Action

GULF SHORES, Ala. -- In two days of action, the Siena Heights men's track and field team has garnered three All-Americans at the NAIA Championships, on Thursday and Saturday.

The Saints earned All-American honors with a third place finish in the 4x800m relay. The team consisting of Jareb Duggan, Dominic Muessig, Anthony Vermilye and Brent Rodden crossed the finish line in 7:34.08. First place British Columbia (Canada) won with a time of 7:33.45.

Keith Jordan took home fifth place in the high jump, clearing the bar at 2.06 meters (6 feet, 9 inches) to earn All-American honors.

In the discus throw, Zach Kunst finished seventh with a toss of 50.49 meters (165-8) that gives him All-American status.

Rodden ended third in the preliminary round of the 800m run with a time of 1:51.08. He is set for the finals at 5 p.m. CST on Saturday.

Although earning an eighth place preliminary finish with a time of 53.66 seconds, Torin Anderson missed making the finals in the 400m hurdles.

The Saints will be back in action in the final day of the NAIA Championships on Saturday.
