ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Distance runners Dominic Muessig and Samuel Parlette improved upon provisional times they recorded just one day prior to competing for the Siena Heights men's indoor track and field team at Michigan's Simmons-Harvey Invitational on Saturday. As a team, the Saints had one win, one auto and three provisionals.

Muessig improved his provisional time in the 800-meter run as he placed third in 1:22.13. His time was improved by .08 seconds.

Parlette finished eighth in the mile, clocking in at 4:20.87, which was .65 seconds better than his previous provisional.

Richard DePalma recorded the only auto performance as he cleared 16 feet, 0 3/4 inches (4.90 meters), which fell short of his previous-best height.

Tre' Goynes added a second-place performance in the high jump, clearing 6-7 3/4 (2.03m), but missed his best provisional height.
