Saints Get Ready To Face Racers in WHAC Tournament

Adrian, Mich. – With the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference men's soccer regular season games closing out on Saturday, the Saints get ready to compete in the WHAC tournament.  

Siena Heights finished the regular season with a 6-11-1 overall record and a 3-7-1 conference record. SHU finished seventh in the WHAC standing giving them the seventh seed going into the conference tournament. Siena is slotted to play the second seed Northwestern Ohio on Saturday, November 3 at 3 p.m.. With the Racers being the higher seed, the game will take place at UNOH in Lima, Ohio.

SHU and UNOH faced off already once this year earlier in the season. The Racers came out on top of the Saints by a score of 3-0. UNOH finished their season with a 13-3-2 overall record and a 10-1-0 conference record.

This will be the Saints first appearance in the WHAC Conference Tournament since the 2011-12 season. During that season, Siena was able to upset Davenport in the Quarterfinal round but then fall in the Semifinal to Aquinas.
