Saints drop one to Madonna

Livonia, Mich. The Siena Heights men's soccer team fell to Madonna this afternoon by a score of 4-2. 

The Basics: 

Final Score: Siena Heights 2 Madonna 4

Location: Livonia, Michigan

Records: SHU (4-6-1) Madonna (9-2-0)

How It Happened:

Madonna struck first on the scoreboard early in the game but Siena would respond with back to back goals in the first half. Matt Lentine (Senior, Fraser, Mich.) scored in the 21st minute. Less than a minute later Chris Ornelas (Junior, Belding, Mich.) would score a goal to make it 2-1 SHU heading into halftime.

The second half of the game was taken over by Madonna. They were able to score three goals in the half to take the lead and more. The Saints got outshot 18 to 3 in the second half as goaltender Leo Hisamatsu (Junior, Osaka, Japan) made six saves in the half and 12 on the day. 

Top Saints: 

-Lentine scored his 3rd goal of the season

-Ornelas was able to score his 3rd goal of the season as well

The Opposition:

-Yuri Farkas scored three goals for Madonna
