Mount Vernon, Ohio The Siena Heights men's soccer team earn a tough fought win this afternoon as they beat Mount Vernon Nazarene 1-0. Robin Bopeso (Junior, Ivry-Sur-Seine, France) was able to score today's only goal.

How It Happened:

The saints and cougars each played good defense tonight as they combined for only 11 shots. The saints however was able to capitalize on one of those shots. Bopeso scored in the 45th minute to give SHU the lead. Justin Gray (Senior, Fraser, Mich.) got the assist on the goal. 

In net for the saints was Leo Hisamatsu (Junior, Osaka, Japan). He made two saves and earned the win.

Top Saints:

-Bopeso has now scored in back to back games

-Gray taillied his first assist on the season

-Hisamatsu earned the win for SHU

The Opposition:

 -Tim Kasparek had four shots on the day as he lead the cougars offense

-Joshua Dunn got the loss for Mount Vernon in goal
