The Siena Heights men's soccer team hosts Lourdes (Ohio) and Cornerstone for two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match-ups during Homecoming week. Kickoff against Lourdes is set for 7 p.m., on Wednesday, prior to the match against CU on Saturday, set for 12 p.m.
SHU is currently 3-8-0 overall while holding an 1-4-0 conference record. the Saints lone WHAC victory is over Concordia with a 2-1 victory.
The visiting LU Gray Wolves are 4-5-1 with a 2-3-0 WHAC record, earning victories over Aquinas and Rochester. Last season, the Saints fell to Lourdes 2-0 as Leo Hisamatsu stopped five shots in goal for SHU.
Cornerstone currently is 2-5-3 overall and 1-2-2 in the WHAC, their lone victory coming over Rochester. Prior to visiting SHU, the Golden Eagles will host Marygrove in a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday. Last time the Saints and Golden Eagles met, CU was forced to forfeit as an inellegible player was played, resulting in a SHU victory.
Approximately halfway through the WHAC season, Siena Heights sits in 11th place over last place Rochester.
