Indiana Tech Overcomes Men's Soccer in WHAC Action

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Indiana Tech in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action, on Wednesday.

Only 10 minutes into the match, Ian Billock scored the lone SHU goal when he finished a pass from Alessandro De Santis. The 1-0 score held through halftime.

Andrew Higgins scored both goals for Indiana Tech (10-2-2, 4-2-1) in the second half, coming in the 57th minute off of a corner kick and agin from a free kick in the 86th minute.

Billock led the Saints with three shots, including two on frame. Roman Schindler and Higgins each took four shots for the Warriors.

SHU (4-9-1, 1-7-0) goalkeeper Leo Hisamatsu made four saves while Adam Vivano stopped one shot for Indiana Tech.

Indiana Tech outshot Siena Heights, 18-6, and held a 9-2 corner kick advantage.

Next up, Siena Heights will travel to Marygrove on Saturday for a 3 p.m. WHAC contest.
