Men's Soccer Falls to Aquinas

The Siena Heights Men's Soccer Team lost a WHAC matchup with Aquinas College by a score of 2-0.

Siena Heights gave up a penalty kick at the 12:26 mark which was converted by Peter Brandenburg for what would prove to be the game winning goal.

The two teams would battle back and forth through the remainder of the first half with neither team being able to find the back of the net.

In the second half, Aquinas scored an insurance tally at the 63:17 mark with a goal by Ni Ellingboe.

The shots ended up equal for the two sides by the end of the night with each team attempting 13 shots.  Aquinas held a 4-2 corner kick advantage.  Leo Hisamatsu made five saves in the goal for Siena Heights.

With the loss, the Saints fall to 4-4-1 on the season and 1-2-0 in the WHAC.  They will return to action on Friday night for a 7 pm start with Michigan-Dearborn during homecoming weekend.
