Men's Soccer Falls in Double-OT to Mount Vernon Nazarene

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- Siena Heights men's soccer team fell to Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio), 3-2, in double-overtime on Saturday. 

Luis Miguel Anaya and Rahbar Khan led the Saints, each scoring one goal.

The Saints (0-2-0) scored early when Khan finished a breakaway in the ninth minute. MVNU (4-1-0) tied it up in the 55th minute when Enrique Salazar finished a cross from Matt Roldan.

Siena Heights took the led when Anaya scored in the 70th minute. The Cougars answered with another Salazer goal in the 74th minute, 2-2 the hold score through regulation.

In the 103rd minute Taylor Dyson finished off an assist from Tim Kasparek to win the game for Mount Vernon Nazarene

Saints' goalkeeper Leo Hitsamatsu stopped six shots while winning keeper Adam Miller made four saves for the Cougars.

Next up, the Saints will travel to Huntington (Ind.) on Wednesday with a 4 p.m. kickoff.
