ADRIAN, Mich. -- Collin McLaughlin scored two goals as the Siena Heights men's soccer team drew a 2-2 tie with Marygrove in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday.
McLaughlin's goals occurred during the 42nd and 72nd minutes after the Saints fell behind, 2-0. Both tallies were assisted by Jakub Havlak.
Abdoulie Jallow put the visiting Mustangs (6-8-1, 5-1-1) ahead in the 32nd minute, getting an assist from Raom Salas.
Eighty seconds later, Salas gave Marygrove a 2-0 advantage with an assist from Talal Hamodi.
McLaughlin cut the Marygrove lead in half during the 42nd minute, planting a shot from 18 yards out. He later put in the equalizer during the 72nd after accepting a cross pass from Havlak.
Siena Heights goalkeeper Brandon Gonzalez finished with nine saves while Marygrove netminder Ryan Plonka stopped five shots.
The Saints (2-12-2, 1-5-2) will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 29, with an 8 p.m. WHAC contest at Indiana Tech.
