Men's Soccer Snags Program's 300th Win

HUNTINGTON, Ind. -- Jason Uribe and Clayton Tomczyk scored goals to lead the Siena Heights men's soccer team to the 300th win in program history -- a 2-1 non-conference victory over Huntington (Ind.) on Saturday.

Tomczyk found the net in the 36th minute, getting an assist from Keith Swistock, before Uribe's go-ahead goal in the 62nd.

James Handtke had the lone goal for Huntington (1-5) with assists from Lee Ewen and Brooks Smith.

SHU's winning goalkeeper, Brandon Gonzalez, had six saves while Huntington goalie Troy Hester made four stops.

Siena Heights outshot Huntington, 12-10, and held a 5-2 corner-kick advantage.

The Saints will return to action on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. non-conference game against Cleary.
