Men's Lacrosse Earns At-Large Bid to the 2018 NAIA National Invitational

The Siena Heights men's lacrosse earned an at-large bid to the 2018 NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational, as announced by the governing body on Sunday. The Invitational will take place at Aquinas in Grand Rapids, May 10-11.

The Saints enter the tournament as the No. 5 seed and will face the No. 4 seed Cumberlands (Ky.) on Thursday, May 10, at 7 p.m. Recently, SHU fell to Madonna in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament Championship, 13-6. Madonna enters the Invitational at the No. 1 seed with a 20-0 record. Indiana Tech is the final WHAC program making the Invitational, claiming the No. 3 seed.

Other schools in the Invitational are Reinhardt (Ga.), Keiser (Fla.), Missouri Valley and SCAD Savannah (Ga.).

This will be the second apearance for the Saints at the NAIA National Invitational, as they fell to Missouri Valley in the 2016 semifinal, 8-7, in double-overtime.
