Men's Lacrosse Defeats Benedictine (Kan.) in Non-Conference Action

ST. LOIUS, Mo.—The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team picked up a 12-8 victory against a non-conference opponent Benedictine (Kan.), on Sunday.

Siena Heights started off strong outscoring the Ravens 4-2 in the first quarter and 2-1 in the second, entering halftime with a 6-3 lead. Four third quarter goals elevated the Saints to a 10-4 lead. The Ravens fought back in the fourth, scoring four times as the Saints added two insurance goals, Siena Heights winning 12-8.

Siena Heights (2-0) was led by Garnet Potter and Ryan Mamo, each scoring a hat trick. With two goals a piece was Danny Orr and Shane Lewandowski. Nolan Lyons and Danny Kreitzer each scored solo goals.

In face off, Travis Byrd went 10-15 and Broderick Ames went 2-5. Lewandowski and Parker Richards each picked up five groundballs for the Saints.
