Once again, goaltender Ryan Mailloux provided a solid performance in the cage; official save totals were unavailable at time of release.

Down 2-0, SHU got goals from Kreitzer and Lewandowski to even the contest at 2-2. The Flyers then tallied twice to take a 4-2 lead through three quarters.

In the fourth, Woods and Macek scored their goals, but each time, Dayton extended its advantage to two goals.
