#18 Men's Lacrosse Earns Comeback Win Over MoBap For Seventh Straight Win

DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The 18th-ranked Siena Heights men's lacrosse team battled back from a three-goal deficit for its seventh consecutive win -- an 8-6 non-conference victory over Missouri Baptist -- at Saint Ambrose (Iowa) on Saturday.

Chris Acton and John Holowaty scored two goals apiece for the Saints (7-0) while Danny Orr chipped in with one goal and two assists. Spencer Macek added a goal and an assist.

Brennen Gohr and Tom Kreitzer also had goals for SHU. Chris Batkins and Shane Lewandowski added assists.

In net, winning goalie Ryan Mailloux had 15 saves.

The Saints trailed, 5-2, in the second quarter before Holowaty put in one goal and Acton had two to forge a 5-5 halftime tie. Kreitzer's third-quarter goal broke the 5-5 tie.

Siena Heights will return to action on Saturday, Apr. 4, when it takes on Lourdes (Ohio) in a game that will serve two purposes. The contest will be a Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Central Division matchup and a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament third-place game to finish up the WHAC fall-ball tournament. The SHU/LU contest will take occur at Davenport.
