#21 Men's Lax Rolls Lawrence Tech

BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – The 21st-ranked Siena Heights men's lacrosse team claimed its fifth straight victory, taking a 21-5 decision over Lawrence Tech in Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Central Division action on Sunday.

Tom Kreitzer scored five goals while Brennen Gohr, Shane Lewandowski, Danny Orr and Nate Woods put in three apiece for the Saints (5-0, 2-0) who opened the contest with a six-goal run and rolled from there.

Nick Lyons chipped in with two goals. Chris Batkins and John Holowaty tallied single goals.

Holowaty and Orr added two assists apiece while single assists were recorded by Batkins, Lewandowski, Joshua Abruzzo, Chris Acton and Stephen Bloxam.

Abruzzo led SHU in the groundball department, accumulating six pickups. Acton, Bloxam, Holowaty, Lewandowski and Lyons added four GBs apiece. Kennedy went 9-7 in the faceoff circle while Mark Ward finished 4-1.

Winning goaltender Ryan Mailloux stopped 15 shots before he was lifted in the fourth quarter. Tyler Hooper and Drew Pointe made two saves each in relief.

For LTU (2-2, 0-2), Tim Popp had three goals and seven groundballs in support of goalie Adam Gohl, who stopped seven shots.

The Saints will return to action on Saturday and Sunday with a pair of contests in Davenport, Iowa, against Missouri State and Missouri Baptist.
