Men's Golf Sits 7th After Day One of WHAC Championship

AUGUSTA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished the first 36 holes of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) golf championship with a team score of 635 (312+323) for a first-day team score of +59 to sit in seventh place in the team standings going into day two.

James Monteith finished with scores of 75 and 80 for a total of 155 to tie for 17th on the individual leaderboard. Aaron Bitz followed with a 157 (79+78) to tie for 20th. Drew Whelan shot a 161 (78+83) to tie for 29th. James Kuenzer finished with a 162 (80+82) to tie for 31st and Josh Winowiecki scored a 181 (90+91) for 54th.

The Saints return to action tomorrow for the final day of the WHAC Championship.
