ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team claimed seventh place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree #2 at the Lenawee County Country Club in Adrian, Michigan. Aaron Bitz led the Saints by finishing tied for 18th with a two day total of 153 (+11).
Hunter Walsh was the second-highest counted score for Siena with a two day total of 155 to tie for 24th. He improved upon his day one total by seven strokes.
Nate Hamilton shot well for the second day with a 77 on day two for a total of 155 (+13) which tied him for 24th. He was competing as an individual and was, therefore, not counted in the team totals.
Drew Whelan improved eight strokes on day two for a total of 158 (+13) to be tied for 31st.
James Kuenzer shot a 77 for a 161 (+19) to tie for 37th. James Monteith finished 162 (+27) to tie for 47th.
The Saints compete in the WHAC Jamboree #3 in Ann Arbor, Michigan this Wednesday and Thursday, September 26-27. Start times are currently TBA.
