DEFIANCE, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished fifth at the Jon Speiss Memorial Tournament hosted by Defiance on Tuesday afternoon. James Kuenzer led the Saints by tying for 11th with a round score of 77.
Aaron Bitz shot an 80 to finish tied for 22nd overall and record the second-best score for Siena. Hunter Walsh finished one stroke away from Bitz to tie for 26th. James Monteith and Bryce Henderson each tied for 33rd with an 83 while Drew Whelan and Colin Duffy capped off the scores for the Saints with an 84 to tie for 37th.
SHU men's golf competes at the WHAC Jamboree #1 at the Indianwood Country Club in Lake Orion, Michigan this coming Monday and Tuesday, September 17-18.
