Siena Heights men's golfer Nicholas Sanscrainte was named a 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, as announced by the governing body on Thursday.

Sanscrainte is a two-year award winner as an accounting and finance major while earning a minor in business administration. In the NAIA, 180 men's golfers received this honor.

In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
